Food Recipe: 2-Minute Chocolate Mug Cake

Hey foodies! Do you live in a dorm room? And all you have in your kitchen is a microwave? Here’s a special, 2-minute treat, for all of my people with a sweet tooth; a quick, egg-less chocolate mug cake recipe to instantly satisfy one of your late night cake cravings in these upcoming times of exam hardships! Here is what you’ll need:

Ingredients
4 tablespoons all purpose flour

3 tablespoons cocoa powder (I cheat and use Milo powder, cause ain’t no body got time to go look for cocoa powder!)

3 tablespoons milk

3 tablespoons oil (butter, olive oil, vegetable oil, whatever you have can work!)

2 tablespoons sugar

½ teaspoon baking powder

Pinch of salt

Chocolate chips (amount? Go crazy!)

How to make this bad boy:

  1. Combine all the ingredients into a large mug.
  2. Mix well to form a smooth batter.
  3. Top with chocolate chips.
  4. Pop it into the microwave for 2 minutes on high.

Note: You might want to experiment and alter the recipe to your taste.

Tip: Scoop out half the bather; place a spoonful of jam or Nutella and pour the remaining bather back in. Makes for a nice molten center!
