Campus StyleWatch: March 2016 #6

Sometimes we shy away from white clothes because of stain risks and how our bodies appear in white. But that’s why we have bleach and styling articles. This week on StyleWatch, we’re featuring three ladies who’ve succesfully incorporated (and rocked!) white into their outfit of the day.

Daisy Njeri Gitata | Kenya | 2nd year Business Economics and Finance

White t-shirts are one of the most essential pieces anyone must have in their closet. You can pair them with everything, from sweat pants to culottes. A simple plain white tee makes a statement about you and your values.

Daisy chose to wear the legendary white t-shirt with blue skinny ripped jeans. The white sneakers added a kick to her outfit.

When asked how she picks her daily outfit, she replied, “It depends on the number of lectures a day. Like today I had a 9 to 6 day, so I wore what is comfortable to me.”

Shoes Cotton On.

Bag, a gift.

Nasara Katuka| Nigeria | 2nd Year Business Management

Now pulling off a white skirt isn’t an easy thing and it’s also a big risk but congrats to Nasara because she’s made it look effortless. She paired this look with a black turtle neck top to help accentuate her petite figure. In order to balance it all she completed the look with a pair of ballerina flats and a gorgeous hat.

She loves dressing in a way that shows her petite size, she also loves bold colours and taking risks in fashion. She isn’t scared of trying new things; she loves dressing in an easy-going manner so that she can always feel comfortable and confident throughout the day.

Iszwanie Syahira Bt Ismi | Malaysia | 2nd year TESOL (Education)

A floral scarf matched with fluid white shirt and tucked in light pink palazzo pants is what Syahira chose to express the influence of her mother’s fashion sense on her. She completed the look with a Charles & Keith white handbag and heels.

She prefers wearing a plain scarf due to the fact that they can be easily dressed up or down, however when she wears a printed scarf she tries to wear a simple plain top to shift the focus on the scarf’s prints.

Shirt and shades from H&M.

Pants from a boutique in KL.

Watch from Roscani.

Scarf from mother’s closet.

Handbag and heels from Charles & Keith.

That’s all for this week’s StyleWatch and as always, stay stylish.
