Campus StyleWatch: November 2017 #17

The StyleWatch team has been on the lookout for stylish students and lecturers – and here are some of the students spotted around campus recently.

Thapanawich Promtong (Power) | Thailand | 3rd Year BSc Business Management

Power, like most students, dresses up depending on the activities of his day. On that day, we spotted him on his way to an NDC hip-hop class. Dare we say he dressed for the occasion? He paired his printed shirt with timeless blue jeans, which he cuffed. Being a dancer, he completed his outfit with a pair of sneakers (so, he can bust a move anywhere haha). Power says his love for fashion started way back in high school as a student officer when he had an image to maintain.

Bakhtiyar Badar | Pakistan | 3rd Year BSc Finance Accounting and Management

“The clothes you wear represent more than yourself. They represent many things from family to country”

This is how Bakhtiyar explains why he goes the extra mile when dressing up. Surprisingly a first-timer on style watch, he paired his classic pair of denims with a button down and finished off his look with a pair of leather Chelsea boots.

Laura Ah-Shung | Seychelles | 2nd Year BSc Finance Accounting and Management

We spotted Laura out and about in this floral dress. Describing her style as vibrant, she prides herself on having an eye for style and we could not agree more! Regarding the style on campus, she believes that people should put some effort when leaving their home. “It does a number on your confidence,” she says. Laura’s go to outfits are playsuits and dresses because you are fully dressed in one swoop, and ready to take on your day! Great advice.

That is all for StyleWatch this week. Be on the lookout! You could be featured next!

As always, stay stylish!
